My Education

To become an RMT and Certified Strength and Conditioning specialist I extensively studied exercise science, completed comprehensive studies in anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology and neurology alongside extended training in manual skills, orthopedic assessment and treatment. I graduated with honours on the Deans List from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and passed the rigorous examination process to gain RMT certification in British Columbia, and I challenged the CSCS exam with top marks. I learn new knowledge prodigiously and am always furthering my understanding and skill set, and learn much from my clients and the many courses, lectures, webinars, books and current research that I explore.
Some of the most recent courses I have learned from:
- Postural Restoration Institute: Voicebox Resonation
- Discussion of the importance of whole-body vibration in managing pressure and integrating new positions with identity
- Postural Restoration Institute: Occlusal Cervical Restoration
- Broad understanding of dental influences on posture, movement and thought and framework for integrating inter-disciplinary patient care
